Wasn't gonna post, but wanted to weigh in on Cam. It's painful to watch, and Cam is never gonna take himself out, he's not that kinda guy. Coach has to sit him. It's not fair to Cam and his image to keep him out there, while brainless announcers talk about his poor play, while only mentioning his injury when saying he's missing practice reps that are important. 

I feel bad for Cam. He's a shoulder thrower anyway, and he just can't do it right now. Anyone criticizing his game is either dumb, blind, or purposely obtuse. The guy shouldn't even be out there and is fighting through it. Respect to him for that, but somebody needs to protect him from himself. Get surgery, and come back healthy. 

Anyway, good game. Kind of what I expected. Blowout wasn't going to happen. Luke was a monster. I'm ready for that dude to retire lol. Hopefully the 1 seed is wrapped up next week and the week 17 meeting will be meaningless for both teams.

Congrats on the back to back division titles.

Only idiots think Cam is done, but he does need rest and/or surgery. I think Drew Brees would agree given his history.

Been tough season after 6-2, but this team wasn't complete enough to win SB. Hopefully we will be back next year

I feel like the shoulder has lingered for a while without surgery. At this point, have the surgery, take a lengthy rehab, and hopefully put it behind you for the rest of your career.

Yeah at this point the only reason I can imagine Cam wanting to play is trying to keep his HCs job. 

Surgery should have happened weeks ago, now we are looking at him probably not even throwing till preseason, and that’s if he doesn’t go the Andrew Luck route

Tepper has to step in and protect the franchise QB from a lame duck coach desperately trying to save his job. The season is over. The Rivera era is over. It's time to focus on the future and the best thing for that future is getting Cam right... if that can even be done at this point. Rivera may have already rode that shoulder into the ground and that's both terrifying and deeply saddening to think about.

      Who is yall? The Bryce “haters”.  This is a wild post bro.  Bryce defenders jumping the shark at this point.  I wanted Cam Newton before anyone was even floating he could be the #1 overall pick lol.  Cam Newton is my Panthers GOAT.  As a real Cam fan, it’s gross BY defenders are trying to use Cam as some sort of Bryce defense tactic.  Comparing BY to Cam is also on par with comparing Jimmy Clausen to Cam.  It’s pretty dang close.

      I agree about Evero deserving credit, but that's also unfortunately where I have to say something that I'm sure won't go over well either. As that's great and all, but honestly, at this point, do we REALLY care about Evero showing improvement in his schemes as a coach other than making our players better individually? If you're in the same boat as me, and 100% expecting a new HC next year, what our DC does this year with in game improvements is nice in the moment, but pointless in the long term since he'll then also be gone next year, no way a DC gets kept around for 3 HC's no matter what he did that previous year. So yes, I give him credit and want us to show improvement there, but it's just unfortunately not something I'm going to get excited about either when looking forward into 2026 and beyond, which as I've clearly said, is really all I'm looking at this year, how it sets up our future as a franchise. Now I'll also be fair there and say if you think Canales and co. will be back next year, then sure, it's something to get excited about, but I just can't see any way Tepper brings him back again.

      PFF has it's uses for certain position groups but it shouldn't be seen as gospel. Sometimes you just have to look at what you're seeing with your own two eyes.
