REPORT: Tampa would be interested in Ron Rivera if we fire his ass

Bahhhh he's only a good coach when he's about to get fired. He has gotten two GMs fired. One because the GM had to make the tough calls Rivera wouldn't. Fact is he rode a talened team to a mediocre record.

The entire organization has literally shifted around Ron in the time he's been here.  Two different GMs, two different owners, three different OCs, three different DCs, and so on.  The exact same things that drove us crazy in 2011 are still happening and he's been the only consistent piece in the coaching staff.  It's getting hard to deny.

Fox was able to get 2 more jobs after Carolina he still sucked. Rivera is at the same point as Fox was here.  Time to let him go.

That's an amazing point. I remember Huddlers saying Fox would be scooped up in an instant and would succeed everywhere he went because of how great of a coach he was deep down. By the end of his run in Chicago, he was a laughingstock across the league.

Rivera is a good coach. He will have another job very soon after he leaves here. But even good coaches can grow old and stale and need a change of scenery. It's best for cam and the team to move on

I mean John Fox lost another Superbowl with the best offense in NFL history behind him, Rivera can do the same, to the Panthers, while coaching the Broncos.
