Yes.

Isn't it about time we did something great for Cam? Don't tell me giving him a glorified check down option or a rookie WR is doing something great for him.

Wouldnt not spending a ton of money on a position of relative strength and instead using the resources to build an Oline and Dline be doing somthing great for Cam?

Relative strength? I count 5 games this season and the playoff game against NO last year, that we would have won if we had a genuine #1 receiver!

Not sure that math checks out

Do you realize what Brown does for that team, and for JuJu ... Brown makes it possible for JuJu to make such a big impact at such a young age. Brown makes Ben look fantastic, and JuJu look fantastic. And what fragile chemistry are you talking about? We have one of the strongest, if not strongest, locker rooms in the league. Cam and Brown have proven to get along really well. Cam and Brown greatly admire and I can't see how putting the two together would amount to anything less than a Home Run.

Antonio Brown is:

(a) a selfish prick,

(b) a locker-room pariah,

(c) doesn't get along with effectively assaults his QB,

(d) a disciplinary problem for his coaches,

(e) draws tons of negative scrutiny/publicity from former teammates in the press....

.....and you want to introduce him into the mix with the already fragile situation here?

I don’t want him, but the thought of him landing in Atlanta, Tampa or New Orleans makes me ill.

I'm sure there would be lots of hand-wringing, but it would end up working out in the Panthers favor. Just think about how strapped the team that lands Brown will be over the next several years.

Go get him, other teams!

Cam couldn't throw the ball down the field. Doesn't matter who the WR is, not changing the game.

Brown walked out on his team with the playoffs on the line because another WR got attention. You seriously trying to suggest he wouldn't have lost his poo if Cam couldn't get the ball to him?

Seriously, Brown was AWOL, didn't practice, didn't return texts & calls and ultimately got suspended for a game that could have meant the difference between the playoffs and going home. WTF would you want that in Carolina?

lol rewatch the games during that period, there was no being restricted due to a shoulder injury. Why don't you start with the Detroit game and come back and tell me Cam's shoulder not being right was the reason for that loss.

That Detroit game is when I first noticed something different. Go back to that game and as the ball comes out of Cam's hand you can tell he was lacking arm strength. I wouldnt blame his shoulder solely as the reason we lost, but it didnt help us win despite being in position to do so a few times.

Antonio Brown, in the game versus the Saints, was the reason JuJu even had a chance to fumble the game away though.

Brown made a spectacular, spectacular, sideline catch on 4th down ... if Ben didnt have Brown that game was over before JuJu even would have a chance to fumble the game away ..

Cam and AB have similar personalities which is why I think they get along so good and why people here seem to hate the idea of bringing AB in ..

Yea cam and ss worked just great.

25/37 357 Yards 3 TD and 1 INT and that was with Funchess, who in the game plan is the #1 WR, imploding ...

Gano also missed two extra points and a FG ... we lost by one point

But we definitely win this game if Cam is Cam ... idiotic

You are in complete denial if you dont believe his arm strength regressed every week after the Steelers game. But go ahead and keep arguing against the obvious, it looks like you are really enjoying doing so. I love stat lines, you wouldnt even had to watch the game to come up with that.

    • I'm one of the ones that won't let it go because it didn't solve the problem. We didn't address the center position which was a huge mistake. We were in position to easily take 2 or the top IOL. Instead of drafting JPJ over XL or Frazier over Brooks, we relied on an oft injured guard to center conversion and lo and behold, it failed as predicted. XL looks like a 1 year college wonder and an injured Brooks hasn't even surpassed Eric Shelton.  Bryce was also benched for poor performance, so the issue that many claimed was solely bad oline play wasn't. It didn't fix him bailing out of tight pockets because of being unable to see the field or him refusing to work on his atrocious footwork. Then there's the $$$. Lewis got a good guard payday. Hunt got a tackle payday. Pay tackles, draft guards, if you can.  I have no issues addressing problems through FA. It was not addressing C at all that's been the issue and still has been. Ryan Kalil was the anchor of our offensive line. We had years of solid center play and it showed. Now we're still piecemealing the center position with an expensive oline and it's still a shitshow. Why? Because the player responsible for what happens on the line presnap has little to no experience doing it. Spending on a center, whether it be through draft or FA is not bad. It's not a position that can have anyone just thrown in with no drop off in performance. A great center lifts the play of the guards on each side.  I don't like how we've built the line because we've ignored the hinge pin that everyone counts on every play. And the reality of the situation is, it didn't solve the actual problems with Bryce because those have nothing to do with the oline.
    • Haha!!! That's true. Also carry Tomahawks, ballistic missiles, fighter jets, VSTOL aircraft, etc., but none of them clog up the crappers.
