I think its pretty clear he is speculating.  He will repeat this and then refer to himself saying things a few times as "people have been saying".

In reality they hired an experienced NFL receivers coach and this "threat to Norvs son" concern things is an eyeroll moment. It's a WR coach, not Game of Thrones

 I usually stay away from these “race” conversations...for obvious reasons. The OPs point is simply that the league continues to hire mediocre coaches over potentially more qualified minority candidates...which no objective fan can dispute.

 Even with that said, one of the few things that Rivera has been great at is diversifying his staff and giving opportunities to minority coaches.

He's coached for about every team there is...guess it's the only person they could find for a 1 year gig before Rivera and co. are out.
