Yeah I was looking at the same thing.. All the top teir edge rushers are going north of 16mil.. So the Clowney, Clark, Lawrence, and Flowers guys are probably staying with their teams or going to the highest bidder.  Which aren't either.. Guys like Barr will get paid as well.. Looking at Sporadic cap calculations for each team.. 

We can either go the older vet looking for a last contract route (Derrick Morgan, Brandon Graham, maybe Ansah)..

Or the younger change of scenery bust guys (Ray, Fowler, Arron Lynch, Eli Harold) types..

Cheap is a relative term.. He is still young and a 1st round talent.. So around 6 to 8 mil might get him to pick us over another team..

You're my man @Sub Zero, but Shane Ray would just be a good flier. Spending more than $3M on him would be a mistake IMO.

This is a smart FA signing that a team like the Patriots would make, possibly to replace UFA Trey Flowers. 

I don't have much faith in Marty Hurney.

You might be right.. 6 to 8 might be over bidding..

3 to 5 might be more realistic.. But youth and him once being seen as a 1st round talent will count for something with some teams we will be competing for his services against..
