Kap's Attorney Predicts Panthers or Patriots Will Sign Him

Is this from the same source that said PDiddy had a chance at buying the Panthers?

Sorry but CK is a trash person, with a trash me-first personality, and an agenda to promote himself over playing football.

Its not even in the realm of possibility that he comes to the Panthers, doesn’t matter how progressive Tepper is. Tepper is a business guy first and he knows better than to bring in literally the most hated person (even before he was kneeling) into his organization.

Can you imagine the media circus that comes with this guy?  All the talking heads in media, your social justice warriors/celebs chomping at the bit to play him over Cam, etc.  How do you think this would make Cam Newton feel coming off a season ending surgery. The guy that has sacrificed everything for us physically for the last 8 years. We would certainly be signing his ticket out of town after his contract is up.

If CK does end up back in the NFL, and I doubt he does, he will end up with some hopeless trash organization like the Raiders or the Bucs.

Read it and weep, but it’s the truth...now melt away, and don’t forget to leave me some poop on your way out.

What makes him a trash person?

I believe if you were a fan of another team you'd be one of the people calling Cam a trash person.

Kaepernick being signed or not needs to be a good football and cap  move for the Panthers, and for no other reason.

Kaep was good at one time, often accused of being a 1 read and run quarterback, but had good numbers nevertheless.  If he were willing to be signed to backup quarterback duties for backup quarterback cap space, then he should be considered.  If hes going to stick to wanting top 10 starter money after the panthers having Cam, and not playing a down in 3 years, then no.  Reid was willing to sign a 1 year prove it deal-- and he earned another 3 years.  If Kaep indeed wants to play football he will make the same deal. If not then he doesn't.

No issue with him as a backup (even with his kneeling) because he's not better than Cam. One read QB and then takes off running. Perfectly fine as a backup.

But apparently the dude wants stupid money, and hasn't played in years. Not against it as a camp body, but not as a guaranteed roster lock.

Would lol if we signed Kap then cut him in preseason

I hope that happens with any team that maybe ends up signing him. He doesn't deserve starter money. He has not ever been that good, once teams figured it he couldn't read coverages he was done cause all u had to do was stop his running. Then everyone will finally shut up about him including people on here that think we should sign him. Cam will be ready to go and we will roll with QBs we have unless a good FA on a cheap deal decides to come back up Cam. This Kap stuff is ridiculous and to have a 10 page thread on something that will never happen is crazy.

I literally just explained why he is a trash person.

Mans yep, your right...If I wasn’t a Panther fan I would absolutely be calling Cam trash. Like I call Brees trash, Matt Ryan trash, Dax Prescott trash, Luck, Russell Wilson, Stafford, Bortles, keenum, Winston, Manning, Carr, Cousins, dalton, Flacco....trash, trash, trash, trash, trash, trash!

So kneeling against police brutality makes one a me first person?

I doubt you've ever called Brees or Luck a trash person.

Isn't it clear that CK is out to destroy the next team that signs him? Can't you all see the signs on the wall? Our team is a clear target of this liberal conspiracy.

this is so funny.   thank you.

    • Would Morgan or Beason have been HOFers' if injuries hadn't derailed their careers?  I was not a close watcher of the game when Morgan was in his prime but I thought Beason had a few seasons at close to Lukes' level of play.
    • Franchise QBs feast when things are rolling and the tide that raises boats when things are going sideways.  Bryce isn't that. He's a complimentary player, that's it.  When the defense and STs are on point, he plays loose and it shows.  When we are in a dog fight and things haven't gone our way, he struggles.  It's that simple. He's not a horrible QB, but he's not top tier either.  So the question begs, is this worthy of a second contract?  The answer should be no.  It definitely is my answer. Bryce will never be a QB that can produce wins largely on his arm.  That's a FRANCHISE QB, any other QB is simply a placeholder at the starter's position until that guy can be found.   At some point the excuses of lack of weapons will be a straw man.  Heck, it's nearly there now.  I mean if he doesn't look even better than last year will we blame it on the TE position?  'Well if Bryce only had a player like Kelce, Kittle or Gronk on this team...'  Are we really going to do that?
    • When I arrived at college, I was 18, not too much younger than some of these draft picks.  It was not a huge school, but there were guys on the team who were 21, 22, 23....playing ahead of me.  I was seventh on the depth chart.  Those guys have been through a few seasons, were stronger, more knowledgeable.  I was a better raw player than some of them, but those other factors matter.  As I grew stronger, more familiar with the playbook, and learned what it was like to play in college, I gradually improved and with that, I rose up the depth chart.  It took most of my freshman year for the light to come on.  Had the coach thrown me into the starting lineup day 1, I would have probably failed.    And that was college.  So I agree with you based on my experience on a much lower level.  Frankly, I think that is why so many kids drafted to fill huge gaps bust.  The teams are desperate.  Anyone who looks to fill vacancies in the starting lineup through the draft is desperate.  You draft depth to develop.  For this reason, I say, "Let Walker start for a while."  Maybe Brazzell can be our WR 4.  Throw Hunter into a rotation and ask him to do one or two things.  Freeling needs some strength and he needs to work on run blocking.
