They’re pretty vulnerable, lost unger, lost Ingram, and still need a threat opposite of Thomas. 

We still have to do our job, which is beefing up the defense and making sure cam has a solid o line in front of him

I don't know if I'd say that they're "going downhill", but that's definitely a shot across the bow.

Lmao.  Max put them over the barrel on this one.  Late 2nd round pick isn’t gonna get a top C.  I expect Bradberry, McCoy, and Jenkins to be gone by then. Galliard will be left.

Hard to say, I have seen Bradberry all over the  first 2 rounds---not many teams eager to spend a first rounder on a C---but I tend to agree with you.  Did not look to see if they had a first rounder---now this news is a double bonus for me!

its stating the obvious but, the best and surest way to get Brees off his game is right up the gut.  He has to check down or leave the pocket.  He and Brady can be rattled with contact up the middle.

its a good sign teams may be able to get to Brees this year.

Anyway, it is time to trade Bridgewater to the first team with a QB injury and a spare draft pick.

Just when I think this off-season can’t get any worse.

I’m not saying we can’t win a ring but man I can’t remenber an off season like this. There’s a reason why we don’t get comp picks. We usually add 4 pieces a yr. we have only regressed

 

Unger is the one you DONT want to lose. He's the most consistent of the five as well as the leader of the group. We have seen players step in to fill in the other positions sufficiently. We have not seen this at Center.  

Pre-Unger and post-Nicks, the O-Line was sloppy and inconsistent. After under, they immediately became one of the best. Let's not forget that the biggest key to stopping the Saints offense is pressure on Brees through the interior, aka right over Max Unger.

Free Agent TE Jared Cook (Raiders) was visiting them and they are attempting to get their meat-hooks into him. Aints are not fully into Pass rusher Ziggy Ansah anyway because of injury concerns.
