I love the Panthers, and I think developments like this are great for business, but I wish our city leaders, and city leaders nationwide, would stop giving these teams such crazy concessions.

I work in city govt...and can tell you that the economic benefit from projects such as these are huge.  The occupancy tax generated off of hotel stays along equates to millions per year.

Spartanburg must be hating this news.

Been a good run in Spartanburg.   I will miss having TC here.  I will hold off on what TC can be in a new facility until know if it will be free like it has been in Spartanburg.  That for me has been the best thing about TC all these years.  Parking, shuttle service, entry, etc. at no cost to fans.   Families can come and see the team up close and personal who otherwise can't afford to attend a game at BOA.  Hopefully Tepper will keep it free.  Only time will tell.  If he doesn't then the fans will be the losers with TC moving.

Still free in Dallas, even with the Star. They just have sponsors and specials at the restaurants and other shops.

And Vinnie is to be lauded for that sort of behavior?

I have been to multiple World Cup games and spent an entire World Cup month in Brazil (1998 when they lost to France, in France) which really opened my eyes to how seriously the rest of the world takes the game, but I have never heard of or seen a real fan of football give credence to a player attemping to injure another player.

Absolutely not! I hate Vinnie Jones. Honestly, the only player on that list I mentioned that I like is Zlatan. My point is, the idea that all footballers are “soft” and that it “isn’t a mans sport” is nonsense.

I would never praise or support a player trying to hurt people in any sport. YNWA
