oh no, he was loaned some whacky ostentatious outfit by some designers to go to a charity event so that us poors can go to the met for free!!! can't wait for will grier to start and get us the super bowl!!!

It's not about whether he paid for the outfit.  It's the message he is sending to kids.  He needs to understand his audience and promote a more positive message that doesn't have to do with bowing down to monetary things.

Since when is having money a bad thing?

The message he’s sending to kids? To work hard and put yourself in a position to do things that you’re passionate about? Cam is passionate about fashion. 300k diamonds in a hat can be apart of that. If I was in his position the met gala wouldn’t be my jam but I’d probably have some sort of expensive hobby/passion venture.

I think he makes a great point actually.  I somehow didn't notice Cam dressing like Willy Wonka or the warden from Superjail! during the 8 years prior to this but now I'm super alienated.  I can't relate to somebody who isn't barefoot wearing a Miller Lite t-shirt and track shorts like I am right now, and being able to personally relate to people who play sports for a living is what makes them worth watching.

Oh shut up SMH

I love the people who come into a topic and act like it's no big deal but take the time out of their day to get all emotional and write out some reply voicing their displeasure.

What a bizarre thing to get all sanctimonious about.

It's quite insignificant in the big picture too.  I mean if you're gonna go all "think of the children" over this I truly wonder if you've turned on a TV in the past, oh, three years or so.

Insignificant

78% of NFL players end up filing for bankruptcy or are insolvent within just 5 years of retirement

60% of NBA players file for bankruptcy within 5 years of retirement

MLB (major league baseball) players file for bankruptcy at a rate 4x the national average

Why try to change the narrative?  Why should the leader of the team show any type of understanding how fortunate he is and show a little class?  I mean, I guess it's a good thing we play at Bank of America Stadium because Cam is going to make them a lot of money.
