I remember people saying last season "There's nothing wrong with Cam's velocity" . . . yea, right.  Watching these clips made me remember what an arm the guy has when he's truly healthy.  All of those throws from a messy pocket with people all over him.

We talk about how Cam needs to improve his mechanics, but those throws there couldn't be made with perfect mechanics, only by a QB with truly special physical skills.

I think it's this or the Thanksgiving massacre against Dallas in 2015 where Tony Romo had almost as many completions to him as the rest of the team

Definitely the Thanksgiving Dallas game.

The thing is we win that game even without Luke. The saints game gave us the lead in the division and helped lock up a 2 seed(friggin niners) but we likely don't win it without that crazy performance and we have one less NFCS title to brag on(3 peat)

I was at this game and the entire time the people in front of me, wearing Panthers gear I might add, were saying "Sir Cameron Newton: Leader of Men, Lover of Puppies...Esquire sucks and the Panthers will never win anything with Cam as QB." Then this last drive happened and this guy was practically heckled out of the stadium. No saving face, he just straight up got up and walked out with his equally misinformed wife.

Remember that game like it was yesterday. Luke couldn’t be stopped, basically did whatever he wanted. And Cam on that last drive was epic Cam... calm under fire and shooting lasers. Beating the Aints made it even more enjoyable

Lest you forget the impact of Thomas Davis?

    • The last time the offense saw the field we were up in points in a playoff game. The defense then allowed the most humiliatingly easy scoring drive in NFL history. So... the coaching staff needs the most help tbh.
    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp   19 is valued at 875. 16 @ 1000 Our higher 5th round pick is @ 28.2  It would take our 3rd to really do anything with. Maybe the 4th plus a 5th.
    • After talking to a bunch of you it seems the overwhelming majority of y'all would like to see our first round pick use them defense because we have went offense and receiver at that two of the last 3 years. But I posed a simple question what is the reason we lost to the Rams and after free agency and all the money we've been spending which side of the ball do you think is in need of more upgrades?  I don't think just because you drafted a specific position repeatedly doesn't mean you shouldn't draft that position again if it's still a weakness I think if you swing it back and you strike out and or miss you have to get up there and take another swing personally I think the offense is much worse off than the defense there's more Star power on defense than offense.  Legette was a legitimately amiss and a bus so we have to just watch the thought of him out of the way we are still without a certified number two and arguably Coker could be that but I'd rather he be a number 3 and we lack a field stretching speed option and a legitimate starting tight end we don't really know what we have at RB outside of tuba so I think the offense is bigger? Than the defense which was average last season.
