Eh, I get crapping on players who deserve it after they have left (ie. Benjamin) but it's not like Matt Kalil chose to give himself that ridiculous contract.

But yeah he sucks.

IMO, what Matt did was much worse. He basically “tapped out” and quit completely on the team while still here. Nobody misses a season for “knee soreness”.

Williams may not be all pro at LT.  But hell, hes got to be an upgrade over Speedbump and Clark.

Hopefully he performs well get a huge contract for his family and we get a 3rd round comp in return to replace the one we burned on Little.

Move Littles ass to guard, i want him on the damn field.

But I thought this was the year he was finally healthy???

BTW, go search on Google for news on Matt Kalil and here is the chronological listing: Start from the bottom for a laugh

He’s the perfect example of a guy only in it for the money. He’s 100% done after this.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
