True but it's not always the case when that player is complaining about pt and sitting behind better players. 

Can't have a 2nd/3rd string safety causing rifts in the DB room.

If we want to add a safety, McDonald is a quality pickup...  Jones?  Not so much.

I actually read the Packers were gonna try to move him to LB if they kept him on their roster.  If he makes it to us in the waiver wire, then I'd be interested in what he could do at LB, but that's about it.

We just signed Reid to a big deal.  

True, but if reid goes down who picks up SS? Depth could go SS-Reid/Jones and FS-Boston/Cockrell.  Gaulden can fight for a roster spot at nickel and might get practice squad.  I dont think people are breaking down the doors to get that guy.

Guy was just throwing a fit in Greenbay wanting to be traded because he was their "depth" and not getting pt.

And you want to bring him here for depth?

      I mean in this economy, companies have to be smarter with their spending. Sending reporters to Charlotte to cover a moribund, Pop Warner-level franchise is the ultimate waste of money that should get execs fired. If the media were being kept out, they'd report that--it's the most self-important profession in the world. Even for the locals who know "Panthers suck yet again" stories get them no clicks. Bottom line, no conspiracy here. They're just not worth covering.
