What's your top 3 waiver additions?

I'm still looking and will post mine shortly.  Sorting through a lot of players right now.

WR- David Sills  (wanted him at the Greir pick)

RB Samaje Perine (wanted him last year to back up CMC)

DT Ziggy Hood  (he's much better than Butler, right?)

I didn't see any DBs that blew me away.

Lukas Denis was a top 10 safety projection this draft.  He's a true free safety.  I'd rather have him backing up Boston than Gaulden.  There's a slew of reserve OTs out there from the past few drafts.  I'm wondering if any of them would be better than Greene who seems (at least to me) to be a place holder until something better comes along.  Storm Norton, Adam Bisnowaty, Dan Skipper are just some examples.

We have the 15 or 16th spot on the waiver wire I believe. Doubt we claim anyone this year.

So you think this is the final 53 barring injury?   I seriously doubt that.  It may be as little as one move, but I feel there's room for improvement.

Of all the players released the past two days, there has to be some upgrades out there.  I mean, Seymour, Butler, Greene, Kunaszyk, Bonnafon/Holyfield and Gaulden/Jones doesn't exactly make me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  I realize most of them will likely stay, but Hurney likes to constantly turn over the bottom of the roster....and that's definitely the bottom of the roster.

I thought Doss would have been a nice addition, but we ended up getting Godwin.  The scouting report on him was he was extremely polished as a route runner coming from such a small program. I wanted Sills at pick #100 or in the 4th.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
