The tough call for the coaches is to play Cam as soon as he is healthy.  If he pulls another subpar game his career could be over here if they have to go back to Allen. 

I’m not saying Allen is better than a healthy Cam.  But I think it’s tough to sit him if he goes 4-0 into the bye. Would love to be in those closed door meetings to hear that discussion.  
 

I'd hope this team would be able to acknowledge how the team one rather than who was penciled in at starter at QB.

Because let's be real: Kyle Allen's presence the past two games nearly made us lose. CMC and the defense carried him.

Kyle Allen's pocket movement is suspect + decision making and he has the benefit of not having Daryl Williams at LT like Cam did plus going against relatively easier teams.

He did well against the worst defense in the league, I'll give Kyle that. But his performance the past two games has me very concerned. Let's not blind ourselves by the W-L record.

Cam had Daryl Williams at LT and was constantly under pressure with a lisfranc injury he tried toughing out.

Duh it would've been tough. Cam can't step in properly with that kind of injury on his plant foot.

Healthy Allen is better than hurt Cam. Even the staunchest Cam homers can see that. There is no debate. 0-2 vs 3-0

To say we almost lost because of Kyle Allen is false.  We should have won by 3 TDs last week and nothing Kyle Allen did is the result of us only winning by a TD.  KA put us in position to win that game several times.

It's kind of funny seeing how much people defend Kyle Allen on here yet are quick to ditch Cam Newton the second things go south on him.

Judging a QB by their W-L record is and always has been dumb.
