Agreed. It's been nice to see an aggressive special teams that actually tries to block punts.

I have never understood why in the otherwise ultra competitive NFL, it seems like 99% of the time there is this gentleman’s agreement between coaches that no real effort will be made on ST to actually block punts.  Every game every team it looks like the rush against the punter is the same half hearted affair.

I would have to go with Poe/Butler.  Primarily because of how low we (myself included) have rated them here on these boards.  How much they have stepped up this season.  And how little we are recognizing them.

But really.  So many players on this team could earn that title.

I'm going to go with another player that the huddle loves to give crap, Shaq Thompson. 36 tackles (4 more than Luke) and 2 sacks.

Note: I am in no way implying that Shaq is better than Luke. But considering that Luke in the #1 lb in the NFL, he can't really be under rated.

Poe, cockrell and Irvin have been balling out. I swear they robbed Irvin of a half-sack last game and he tipped the one pass  that resulted in a pick.

Irvin played his ass off last week. I feel that her been overshadowed by how good Burns and Mario have been prior to then.
