Could not agree more.

Interesting tidbit on Tepper, and this may have changed.....but he used to kind of brag about not owning a private jet.  He had a NetJets account but was positioned as a "regular guy" billionaire who raised his kids in the same suburban jersey home for 25 years....

....that said, if they put Cam on a commercial flight that required a plane change in Chicago it raises a whole new list of questions.

1.  WTF are the Panthers thinking from a PR perspective?!?

2.  Is it really on the Panthers?

Might the team and the doctors agree that Cam is already 100% and Cam is insisting on a 2nd opinion and set this up on his own?

This one just gets more bizarre and weird by the day....

The transportation issue was a question I threw out on Twitter earlier. I was thinking the same damn thing this morning. And I’m not trying to point fingers at the team, but it would seem to be a better option to fly him in privately.

our medical staff seems totally Incompetent. From Rushing back Olsen multiple times to no avail to rushing D williams back and causing him a career altering injury. They gotta go. Sorry RV.

Manhertz blocking Dlaw after a dead ball whistle is why Williams got injured again. Just an unfortunate situation for a guy trying to get back in a contract year

Why are people blaming Rivera and the staff for this?

Cam straight-up admitted in his YouTube video that he had lied to the team about the extent of the foot injury so he could keep playing. If the team x-rays him, it comes back negative, and Cam says he's good to go....how the hell are they supposed to know his foot is still a problem? This would be very tough for the Panthers medical staff to see coming, much less Ron freaking Rivera.

I don't blame Cam for lying about it because I'm sure it's not the first time he's lied about his injuries so he could keep playing. It's just an unfortunate situation all around. I love blaming people to make people angry on here, you know that, but even *I* am having a hard time figuring out why someone on the Panthers should be blamed for this.

Would you say the same about a concussion if there wasn't a protocol? It's not the players responsibility to self-diagnose and you should assume they'll do exactly what Cam did. They're all to blame but the coach and medical staff get the larger share because they're the authorities making the decisions.

yeah if cam isn't returning we should absolutely roll with grier. he may not be any better than allen but you need to have an idea before the off season

I think we role with Allen unless he starts losing alot as he could get better as the season goes and the game slows down for him. Seeing both in pre season Grier was at the time, at least, too far behind in basic stuff. He couldn't go through his progressions at all, and definitely couldnt read a defense or blitz.

If you peel apart Josina’s tweet, and that’s what we are left with at this point, here’s what I take away from it:

*Cam Newton was seen in Chicago.

*The source spotted him on a plane.

*No mention of a boot.

*No mention of him walking through the airport.

    • I respect his enthusiasm. Time will tell if it's warrented.
    • Oh I went off and fully entertained my wife last night as my emails go to her phone as well because of my health. So she got the whole conversation as it happened.    Like I went to games in Detroit for the cup finals, I've been to games in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Chicago as well. My mom and her nurse friend double dated one of the players from when the team was in Greensboro. "He's still with the team in some compacity as well." I know people who work for the team at the arena as well. How the hell would I not be considered a fan. Only reason I haven't gone to a game since 2022 is because of my health and money situation. Last game I went to was at United Center in Chicago and me and my wife spent around 1k for glass seats and some food at the arena and we were next to the penalty box. The pictures of the hurricane players I took are lost because my phone crapped out a few weeks later.
    • The Falcons win was a fantastic way to end the season and I think just about every Panthers fan would agree the team the coaching staff and particularly Bryce Young were impressive. We really needed that. Credit where it's due. At the same time. Now we have to establish it wasn't just a flash in the pan. We had one of those earlier in the season against the Raiders. As a tortured Panthers fan I have to acknowledge that. I know you're joking but in all seriousness I don't think the QB sneak is something for us to be concerned about in general but I would be lying to myself if I did not acknowledge that looking back at one particular game last season where we continually trotted out Eddie Pinero on 4th and short on the opponents side of the field we could use some creativity in those situations and it's also a matter of predictability. As time goes on it's something for Canales to work on and figure out. Especially with our kicker situation as it stands.
