That's not exactly a good ratio. One bad play for almost one quality play

Right. Which is why I have referred to him as a slightly above average back up. I have not insisted that he is the next coming. Occasionally, he drops his eyes in the pocket. Occasionally, he misfires on the deep routes. Occasionally, he extends plays and hits his target with accuracy. The tempo of the offense has been solid. I am not talking about stats. I’m talking about Nuance.

You seriously should write for CNN. Plenty of players take commercial and the team doesn't pay expenses. I mean do you really expect a team to foot a 15k flight?

Yes, 100%.

Cam isn't just any player...I'd expect Tepper to foot the bill even if $50k.

Yes Cam is and if he's seeking other opinions it's on him. I also don't blame him for being frugal. The Panthers only responsibility is to provide him with a medical staff and they have done that.

You don’t get as rich as him by wasting 50g’s to fly one person to Green Bay. Cam can sit his ass on a regular airplane just like everyone else. And how do we know the team didn’t pay for his trip? I’m sure he had a nice comfy seat in first class.

For every bad Kyle Allen read or decision, I could pull up almost an equal number of quality plays.

I think most people feel Allen has done great considering his situation.  I strongly feel the "Allen Bashing" is mostly based around people pushing back against those stating Allen should supplant a healthy Cam Newton.  This causes people that would genuinely be excited about actually having a good back up to look harder at his inadequacies than they normally would.

So when people point out a bad Allen read/decision, I don't feel they are doing it because they genuinely feel Allen sucks, is bad for the team, etc.  But its more in response to this supposed "QB controversy" that is based around Allen being played over a 100% healthy Newton.

If Newton never reaches 100% healthy, or whatever, thats a completely different conversation.  And that is more about Newton than Allen.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

He is a good backup. You won't get an argument from me on that

Tepper bought a $44 million mansion in the Hamptons and promptly tore it down.....

.....he wouldn't sweat $50k worth of jet fuel to transport the highest paid player on the team to the best foot Doc in the world --- unless....

Again, I agree.

4 or 5 weeks ago after one of 'Boat's weekday pressers Kyle Bailey (WFNZ) described ol' 'Boat as a "meat shield for the organization"....

....I tend to think he was on point.

Ron has been taking one for the team and hiding something all along --- good management on his part.

The phrase good management and Ron don't go together. His handling of Cam last year made sure of that and that alone should get him fired.

Ol' Rowboat really would be better off behind the scenes as an assistant coach.  In Disney parlance, he's a bad show as the public face of the franchise.
