Did a little further research on McDaniels possible DC options.  Found one I like a lot.

Mike Nolan has been a successful DC before (good enough to get a head coaching job off of it) and he'd likely be gettable since he's currently a position coach in New Orleans.

He'd have been my favorite choice for Dan Campbell as HC but it turns out he worked with McDaniels before also.

He was McDaniels' DC with the Broncos during his first go around as HC. So as long as McDaniels doesn't bring Mike McCoy back as OC, I am good lol

IF Dan Quinn gets let go in Atlanta, I want him as our defensive coordinator. His teams have always played the saints tough and he would know better than anyone how to attack the falcons offense. 
 

I could really get behind a McDaniels-Quinn combo.

That's an option, though.

A couple of others would be Rick Dennison and Rams QB Coach Shane Waldron.

Heck, Wes Welker is a receivers coach now but I don't think he'd be ready for an OC job yet.

I could too but I don't know that they're familiar with each other.

And heck, at this rate, Quinn might actually save his job.
