The Panthers have drafted three safeties in the second round, one being the best they ever fielded.  Proving you get what you pay for, the rest are not good.

No CB that matches up against WR1s, when you play Godwin/Evans, Julio/Ridley, Thomas..twice a year will have good numbers.  The reason the top 5 WRs by yardage (and pro bowl) have been NFC S ones isn't because coverage is bad.  Its because they are really really good.

I don't think he's trash by any means. I just think he's the best we've got and that causes ppl here to overvalue him when in reality he's probably just a solid number two corner. I don't mind bringing him back but If we give him top cornerback money I think it'd be a huge mistake considering we can probably get a guy with his level of up and down, didn't look terrible this week production in the draft. Just keeping it one hunnit

Bradberry isn't brand name enough to get a huge deal anywhere I think he can be had for a bargain - CB #2 money

I wouldn't set records in giving him a new contract, but he is definitely our best secondary guy.  Every one else has struggled.

Ross Cockrell has played better this year

A 14m plus per year cornerback better consistently have good numbers against every team’s #1 wr

Julio Jones will be 32 years old by the end of next season.

I wouldn't pay a guy because he covers a wide receiver at the very tail end of his career well.

Bradberry has never been good on Michael Thomas nor Godwin.

Early on in the season, Bradberry was taking care of business.  Yet as the season wore on and the awful play of Donte Jackson, guys who usually shine I believe lost heart.  Bradberry is a reliable guy. (Didn't Cockrell give up a long touchdown last week?)
