Looks like he picked the wrong day to post on The Huddle.

Bottom line here, dude: Mike McCarthy has as good a chance of getting the job as anyone, but he's not a lock and this tinfoil hat stuff you're using to try and convince others (or yourself) is just plain ridiculous.

Richardson ended up selling to the guy that made the lowest bid because that was who the league wanted.

He also went into the process thinking he'd get three million and got nowhere close to that.

If you have a handful of people bidding to buy your team but you already know you want Tepper, the guy from Pittsburgh, the guy from the organization you love, even if say, Navarro, offers more, it doesn't matter, Richardson doesn't want Navarro to buy the team

Of course Richardson would take the lesser bid from the person he wants to buy rather than get more money but the person buying Richardon doesn't like

Dude, this whole "I know what's really happening no matter what gets reported" thing isn't gonna gain you credibility.

To know what is really happening you have to put two and two together despite how the media tries to frame it ..

I'm supposed to believe JR got the short end of the stick based on reports but facts tell me Tepper is the best person JR could have had buy the team ..

Steelers are Richardson's model organization and the guy who buys the team comes from the Steelers and is a Pittsburgh native, I mean come on, Richardson could not have came out of this better ..

In Richardson's will - the team was not to go to his son - it was to go to the highest bidder .. the highest bidder could have been somebody Richardson did not want running things .. Richardson was able to sell the team while he was still alive to the person of his choosing .. yes, he chose Tepper and wanted Tepper, read between the lines

You're not reading between the lines, dude.

You're creating lines that aren't there.

    • I've shown you numerous comps for other tackles in the same age and talent range.  His contract, taking into account his age, health, etc.  is the going rate.  It's a fair deal. I've shown you examples of how long it usually takes to find even an average replacement.  Hell, look at every tackle that has ever started for the Panthers.  How many would you consider a success?  They are not easy to find. After everything we've done with this team since drafting Bryce why would we decide to let our best linemen go and add a huge question mark at tackle?   FA is a crapshoot in which any guy available will have cons/issues.  If not, they'll cost a fortune.   Outside of a first or maybe 2nd round pic next year it'll take a few years for a tackle to learn the position at the NFL level.  There are still questions about Icky. Every vet NFL player deals with maintenance.  Between the contract value and history I'm not overly worried about his knee.  I contend his knee issue isn't anything to be overly worried about.  It's not zero risk but it's an acceptable risk.  Every player we draft and every contract we sign has risk.  You're blowing up his own negative words about his knees and ignoring him saying he is healthy and the knee is a non issue.  You have a strong chicken little complex with this team.  Being he has always been a Panther they are very aware of any health issues. We paid now because now is cheaper.  If his knee was really an issue they would have waited.  That tells me it's not the issue you want it to be.
    • Sauls getting cut by Steelers if no trade happens.
    • No they are going to give Claudin Cherelus 2 spots.
