Huge cheers for Greg Olsen as he's introduced out of the tunnel. He has a large group of family here for him today, and he pointed toward them as he ran onto the field.

Not unexpected but it sure seems like he expects this to be his last game. I hope he gets at least one TD.

Eh, CMCs and Grier’s family is at the game too and they had the same ovation. I think Greg comes back if Cam does.

He doesn't need to be around for another rebuild. He's not that guy anymore. One way or another, it's time to move on for him and the Panthers.

He can't unless we release him. If he wants to be released though, I'd grant it to him. He's done enough for us. If he want's to chase a ring, let him.

Yeah for those couple weeks a year he's not hurt and when he's not whining about the team. 

He was on of Rivera's and JRs guys. He's not going to be someone that can be counted on or someone who will be a positive influence in the locker room anymore on a team the is going to be rebuilding. He's too old guard and probably pissed that everything is changed and the guys who put him on a pedestal is gone.

He was great. Now he's just an old player.

exactly...at this point he's become a part-timer and a malcontent with two feet out the door. the sooner we draw a line under this and move on to playerswho actually have an interest in being part of the future, the better.

We need to get past this nostalgia driven mindset of the team and be more proactive and forward thinking in it's construction.

We don't need him anymore. He's going to be hanging on to the part. If he plays next year, it won't be here. It will be with a team that isn't starting over.
