Who follows Rivera to DC?

Wow just wow. I think I am going to be sick. Why didn’t he go out and get Del Rio when he was here?

maybe Carolina wouldn't allow it.  I mean, Del Rio requires a different paycheck.  Meanwhile, Carolina could save a nickel and just ask Ron to pull double duty and help Washington out.

I mean you never know the dynamics.  Coaches in Carolina often have had their hands tied in terms of staff.

Del Rio and Rivera are both stubborn, big personality, "my way" guys.

What happens if they disagree on the direction of the defense?

I can't wait to watch Rivera crash and burn in Washington and end up out of the league because he's too proud and stubborn to return to being a defensive coordinator where he belongs. His defenses sucked until he found a HOF caliber MLB to quarterback his defense and his offenses were based on the magic Cam Newton created. Anyone who says otherwise can watch the tape.

Y’all realize coaches probably didn’t want to come with Ron here because he was basically on a two year prove it deal.

No one wants to go to a staff and get fired after a year.

Redskins been known for a high coaching turnover rate for quite some time now

he signed for 5 it’s not a guarantee with Snyder he plays that contract out

Bruce Allen was in role for 10 years
Gruden 5 years
Shannhan 3 years

Ron was with us for 9 years. Not much turnover there in 8 as many assume they do. If Alex Smith didn’t pull a Joe Theisman they would have been in the playoffs and in contention for the NFC East this year

Half of those 9 Ron got with us were a gift.  Soon as Snyder   starts  meddling Ron gonna wish he was anywhere else.

And I’m sure all the redskins  lacked for the playoffs was Alex freakn  smith

They were only 2 game behind us, beat us at home, and did it with a kid who hasn’t played more than 20 games at QB including college (with their HC fired)

They were 6-3 and were hot until Alex Smith got hurt. Like it or not but they have more pieces than we do right now
