So likely he will try to hire him again this year, since its being reported he will be in charge now

Dorsey & McCarthy are tight.  Now it wouldn't be my top choice, but it's interesting.  Hurney could be his office bitch.

Ha! For real though, Mike McCarthy and Dorsey worked together for like 7 years in Green Bay.  People are going to be looking at his KC experience for ties with guys like Bienemy but he was director of scouting among other positions for GB when they were rocking under McCarthy and Rodgers was actually a vertical passer.

Word is they offered Dorsey a restructured setup where he'd have a lot of his powers reassigned and would essentially become the head of college scouting.
