Dude is the definition of a .500 HC and that’s in freakin college. Why the freak do Panthers fans keep thinking that this guy can be better than Ron Rivera? He showed that he can’t beat a good team vs UGA. Panthers fans have gone insane.

I don't understand the obsession with hiring college coaches, Bill' O Brian is the only college to NFL coach I remember really making it. Saban was a freaking fail, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Patrino. I'm naming all time winning coaches. It is two different games.

Well, based on what people are saying, he's not likely to be in the conversation all that much longer.

Rhule's teams have had significant talent deficits against top collegiate programs and his teams have still performed well in those matchups. I get having other preferences for here but it's not hard to see why he's a top candidate around the league this year where he won't start at such a significant disadvantage.

Jim Harbaugh was one heck of a NFL HC. I know it ended bad for him but at the time he was pretty damn good

I can give you a bucket filled with better college coaches than Rhule that never even had a real chance of being interviewed for a NFL HC position.

I don't mind a college coach that has experience in both the NFL and College.    But I can only think of one coach that came from college with no NFL experience and succeeded.  That being Jimmy Johnson.    Matt Ruhle does have some NFL experience.
