I realize that this is all subjective, but here are my general thoughts on Harbaugh: I think he did much more with less as a HC in the NFL. The sample size is small, but relatively impressive. I also believe that he is maybe the most knowledgeable Harbaugh, and that's also impressive.

Give him A-rod and all that talent that McCarthy's had, and I believe he has more than one ring.

There are rarely “proven” coaches available is kind of what I’m saying. I’d say McCarthy is proven as well but I agree with your last post that the game has kind of passed him by, similar to Rivera just other side of the ball. I would be extremely excited about Harbaugh (his NFL track record speaks for itself) but for the others I share a similar sentiment to you about them being unproven and to just take a wait and see approach.

What I will say, however, is McDaniels is a proven commodity. He’s a proven horrible HC and team builder from his time in Denver. He’s also a proven flake as shown by the Colts situation last season. I wouldn’t touch him. So any coach other than McCarthy and McDaniels would have me a lot happier than picking one of those two. But Harbaugh would be the only one I’d be extremely thrilled with and have high expectations next season.

All these Bieniemy fans are going to be disappointed lol.

ahhhhh, being disappointed in the long run is what we're thinking about.  not being correct or incorrect about who gets hired.   its just fun to talk about.

Yep! I could give two shits who is hired as long as they're successful. Though I would likely be more excited by guys like Jim Harbaugh, David Shaw and maybe even Urban Meyer, I'm going to root for our next HC's success, even if I am not doing cartwheels upon his hire.

I think Bieniemy gives you the best combination of Xs and Os and leadership qualities. As a first time HC I hope he hires experienced coordinators though to take pressure off of him. Should have plenty of options from that Andy Reid family.
