Look man, you wen out on a limb and called him a GOAT and now you are trying to rationalize it.  Watson is good, but nowhere near the GOAT.  So now a close game where he struggled most of it what was supposed to happen?   Nah man, it doesn't work like that.

I'm not going to go so far as to call him goat, but coming ba k with 19 unanswered, and even that play where he was hit by two guys and managed to swing out right, were pretty damn good.

20/25 247 yards, a 121 QBR, and 55 yards is struggling? He carried them on his back. If that’s struggling, I’ll take that every time

Granted, he bounced back after a HORRIBLE start, but Watson is not a GOAT.  The unsung heroes was the defense that kept making the Bills kick FGs.  Just one of those FGs went for a TD, this GOAT would be making vacation plans.

Well, with with a healthy Luke, we’ve ended each season on long losing streaks.

right, I'm not saying Luke > Cam or anything like it, I'm just saying that Rivera's "success" against Belicheck is not an indication of his genius IMO.

I got a stat for you (I'm pretty good at this game) how many points did the Texans have 43 minutes into the game?  A GOAT doesn't tread water for 3 quarters in the playoff at home.

The defense are also tasked with stopping big plays too right?

If the Texan d had multiple punts, then I'd agree.

I think this was just a good example of a game, where one side was ready, Nd the other side needed good plays by the D, long enough to adjust.

And it goes both ways. Balance is a beautiful thing.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
