I know people are freaking out about this but we gave him two interviews and nothing. Meaning we were not hot on him. I think this is a Good thing. I much rather have McDaniels or Bieniemy.

Thought the same thing...  he is the "hood ornament" coach that Jerry loves.  Good public face, can handle the pressers, and most importantly, will do what Jerry wants.

I was never sold on the idea that the Panthers wanted McCarthy that badly.

If they really had, they could have hired him as soon as the Rooney Rule was satisfied, or could have gone ahead and interviewed Perry Fewell to get the ball rolling.

I had the same though--this week will tell us a lot.  Of course, I am not sure the old guys Dallas is considering will start the domino effect because they are a bit off the mainstream in my opinion.
