Right? I mean, the same line that got several of our QB's hurt but oh no Allen comes in and starts moving the ball around and all of a sudden it's Grier that sucks. Have people even thought about maybe, just maybe Allen has 10+ games under his belt at this point and has the experience needed in order to mask the O line deficiencies. You can't have it both ways. IF you made your mind up about Grier after those two lame duck performances by the entire team you're an idiot.

The huddle is pissing me off with ALL these judgments on rookies, just plain unfair.

Can we at least let the man coach a game or two before we decide he should be fired?

Hasn't even landed in Charlotte and some fans are ready to send him packing.

Embarrassing.

Similar to how you have been leading the ship of fans that want to send Cam Newton sailing off into the sunset?

That is even more embarrassing tbh.

It’s still relevant.

so when asked about players from different teams i guess you're just supposed to say 'they suck, if they didn't suck they would have been playing for us.'    i guess a grown ass man is supposed to tear down college kids the same age as those he works with.   this is meaningless.

instead of panicking, think about the player development we've been lacking

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
