Both of those guys could be potential quarterback coaches.

Both are also former head coaches...if not particularly successful ones.

McAdoo has also coached offensive line (briefly) and spent five years coaching tight ends in Green Bay.

McCoy has some history coaching receivers.

QB Coach candidates, I would assume. Neither had strong track records has an HC (McCoy did make the playoffs once and actually won a playoff game). It’s still valuable experience to have on staff. McCoy was here before, as many of you remember, in the Jake days.

Some good names for offensive assistants with a lot of experience. Rhule saying he’s getting calls from all kinds of people about openings here seems to be true. I don’t see a direct connection between Rhule and these guys, but maybe Coughlin provided the McAdoo recommendation. Really looks like a good mix of young and old and college and NFL experience happening.

I looked into McAdoo's TE Coach years. The primary guy for most of his tenure was Jermichael Finley, though he did work a little bit with Bubba Franks.

As an aside and apropos of nothing, one of his colleagues was this guy whose parents clearly had a sense of humor: Ty Knott

Confirmed, they're competing for the same position...

It's conceivable McAdoo could get the quarterback job and McCoy the receivers under the "passing game coordinator" title that person mentions.

One other note: McAdoo wasn't in New York until two years after Rhule had already left.

This sounds like a possible Tom Coughlin suggestion.
