I've seen some speculation that the 17 game season is gonna be a sticking point.

Emmanuel Sanders actually ended up playing 17 games this year due to his midseason trade. He's speaking out pretty strongly against the idea, saying no way in hell he'd be willing to do that again.

Structure just isn't there. A lengthy holdout is the only way the players can make ground but the majority of them can't do it.

Both sides will have to compromise Owners have enough money to survive but will get pressure from sponsors if games aren't played

There is no way the players hold out for two years and there no way the NFL holds out for two years. They will get destroyed by the public. To make such a claim this early in the process is absurd.
