Man if we didnt have Thomas and werent going to run mainly 3 WR 1 TE sets

Id look hard at this guy in the early 3rd or move back into the 2nd for Kmet

Weak TE class and this guy has limited experience, but I have seen him as high as second--I think a TE is a young QB's best friend--and if we dont have one that can get open and make plays, we better get one.  I would not be surprised to see us go with 2, however, on the roster.

That hand size is definitely concerning with Burrow and Fromm

You know, that was never a thing until draft where Bridgewater, Johnny Jackwagon, and the kid that went to the drags got drafted in.

Aaron Rodgers had handsize smaller than all 3 at the time, and they still spent that entire off-season talking about how great Rodgers was.

Handsize for a QB is the new "can throw 90 yards on his knees." No one who actually spends time evaluating QBs puts much stock into it.

    • Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July.  If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
    • I think it's because we've had a player to hate on NO (Breese) and Atl (Ryan) while Tampa had Winston who was never really a threat or dislikable like the other 2
    • yeah. it was also reported that Brown was taking it light today because of oblique soreness. Sounds like the 2 of them were a bit too rough with each other for practice.
