Bradberry Aiming for 15 mil

I want this same energy when Cmac comes up soon.. Like red says..

1. Easily replaceable position..

2. A lowered value position with not much prime years left..

3. 1000 and 1000 still didn't help 7 game losing streak and a below avg. Offense...

4. Not smart to overpay RB's.

We should have the same opinion for Cmac

CMC is an all pro player with likely more all pro years to follow. Bradberry is slightly and I mean slightly an above average corner. They are not the same. If Bradberry was as good a CB as CMC is RB then you'd have an argument.

At a easily replaceable devalued position...  A short shelf life that usually falls apart in a 2nd contract ..Name the RB committees for the 49ers and Chiefs??

Paying Cmac 14 mil or more would be a back breaking dumb move.. That is reality..

I don't need trumped up popularity contest to tell me that..

This is crazy.. Ppl here act like 2016 didn't happen or we don't have the face 3 of the best WR's in the league 6x a year... I'm sorry folks I'd rather pay the going market then watch 6 games of record breaking performances..

That is a nice thought but we can't crush the cap space when we have so many needs. The fact is, difficult choices are going to have to be made and as much as I like Bradberry it is hard to justify $15 mil/year for him when we have so many roster holes.

There’s thread on here with plenty of people calling to not pay CMC and trade him. Why is it just him. What about Moton? Why pay Shaq? Or are they OK, because well........

I figured we would at least get to page 7 before the broad brush of ignorance came out. Pathetic.

At this point why pay anybody and field a football team...

Don't think he's worth that much money truthfully. Should let him walk, but that's help us any. I say franchise tag him non-exclusive.

IMO, at this time, let him walk, field the worst defense in the league, and build if from the ground up starting with this draft class.

We can't be good in 2020, I don't want to start trying now.

P.S. that cap space would be rolled into next season, or used to "buy out" KK's contract.

Cap is going up 20% in the next 2 years.. We are already going to be cut salaries of other older players.. Bradberry is a keeper and still young enough to be a piece for the future..

    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
