There is an excellent two part Covid documentary on Netflix. You should check it out. Goes into this

Might try to check out tonight.

Would figure the asymptomatic people will be addressed in the documentary.

Why wouldn't we be openly cooperating with all nations in an effort to create a viable vaccine?

We are, but that doesn't stop the CCP from covertly trying to steal and possibly improve upon research already done by America and other countries.  Nothing new, most of their country's "success" is from theft.  Global leaders in piracy of intellectual property.  I mean, they unleashed this virus upon the world and should have a few months head start on an experimental vaccine of their own.

Going back to his question - what exactly would they be "stealing" if we are openly sharing and cooperating with the international community?  And if someone finds a way to improve on the research of COVID - why is that a bad thing?

When their spies are covertly hacking into data bases, that is different than openly sharing ideas.  Why is that hard to understand?  We share some military intel with other counties, so therefore it's okay for their spy agencies to hack into the DODs database?

We are talking about a virus that the entire world should be working together to beat.  Hacking into databases and such is bad.  But I'm still trying to wrap my head around how them getting and improving on something COVID related would be a bad thing, and why we would be hiding it from them to begin with.

Do you think if they found a successful vaccine based from data they stole, they would actual share it?  This is the same county that hoarded PPE in the early days of the pandemic.  Good global neighbors, right?

Why are we hiding data that we should be working with the rest of the world on?

Propriety work, man.  Also, nothing has been approved yet.  The best I know a couple of candidates have hit phase 3 of trials.  So we share vaccines that have not been proven effective yet?  If and when they get FDA approval, we will share it.

We are supposed to be sharing, yes.  This is not a normal situation, this is a global pandemic.

well, we aren't openly sharing with the world.

I mean we are in a global pandemic.  Handling it poorly.  And we just withdrew from the World Health Org.

    • I'll be patiently waiting to see what OL additions we snatch off the waiver wire.
    • Look don't get me wrong here. I'm not arguing it's going to just change his arm talent overnight. I'm just saying doing anything on the physical front after the GM who stuck his neck out for him over the concerns around his physical traits got fired is better than doing nothing. That's another layer. It could easily be argued overall he needed to add at least 10 pounds not just for the sake of working in the pocket and not going down so easily but let's be honest eventually no matter how much we invest in the OL he's going to get hit some and those hits will add up. His frame as it stands is only going to absorb so much over a 17 game season. Oh definitely good or bad we will have to run a lot of under center stuff. Bryce will either look good or flounder. But our offense will remain stagnant if we just keep running shotgun plays 90% of the time. You're telegraphing your offense otherwise. That's why I'm not giving Chuba Hubbard too hard of a time over his YPC last year. We weren't fooling anyone. We'll see what Canales has cooked up. It better be pretty damn clever.
    • Why would a team ever not be aggressive in improving the roster? It may look different from year to year but even the best rosters churn at the bottom. That's a no-brainer.
