Cam forced into a trade

Either he plays one year to earn an extension by staying healthy or you get something for him.

My beef is going to be that they are not playing this to get maximum value. I think by allowing him to set the terms of his IR, surgery, recovery timetable, they lost the chance to get good return.

Told y'all Tepper is a terribe owner making terrible decisions. We will be 0-16 and players will NOT want to play for this franchise. Luke, Greg, now Cam. Cmc will be traded draft day. Welcome to the crap show. Told you! Sad to say.

Yeqh let's give a QB that has bee. Injured the past 2 season a extension.  That would be smart.

Some of the comments on IG are pure ugly. If Can goes, it’s going to take a looooong time for fans to get over this one.

A subset of player fans, perhaps.  When this team is rolling in two seasons with a young franchise QB and lots of draft capital, plenty of fans will be rockin' BoA.

This may be a shock to you, but sometimes players say things publicly they don't really mean if it benefits them.

This may be a shock to you but sometimes players speak the truth when speaking out against a teammate or gm or coach or owner. Any thoughts on Olsen saying that it sounded familiar to what they did to him? Or are both just saying it to get leverage?

If this goes as badly as it all looks to be heading, Tepper is gonna be the most hated man in the Carolinas when he starts trying to fleece Charlotte for his brand new Tepper World here in a year or two. They might just tell him to pack his poo and GTFO.

This can go as horribly as possible and yet once we start winning again people won’t give a poo. Tepper better hope that’s on the sooner side (with Lawrence I think we’re competing for the SB as soon as 2022, his second year).

It's going to take a lot more than just Lawrence, even if he's an absolute stud.

It's like half the board has forgotten how bad JR was.  For years this team languished because he took it upon himself to run it as a family business with "loyalty contracts" for the old, washed up, and crippled vets.  Should we be going back to that modus operandi?  God bless Tepper for thinking beyond family dinners with the players when making decisions about a multi-billion dollar franchise.

Like Thomas Davis saying for years he would never consider playing anywhere else but Carolina....

Won’t matter one bit...it’s all about the cash

it's absolutely a factor. professional athletes leave money on the table all the time whether it's total value or net take home, factoring in things like where they want to live and yes, who they want to play for. carolina had a shitty reputation with players because we had a racist predator for an owner and it absolutely impacted the on field product. with reports that the owner is meddling with schemes and treating some of the greatest players this franchise has ever see this way it's absolutely going to have an impact. i know it's comforting to think hurney just spends stupid money for the hell of it. never crosses anyone's mind that it could be a necessity for this franchise.
