The Cowboys have agreed to terms with defensive lineman Gerald McCoy on a three-year deal, according to a source. Like all these deals, it’s pending a physical. McCoy started every game last season for Carolina after a nine-year run with Tampa Bay.

The reality? Not so much.

I watch players to check out their attitude during games and McCoy was always dialed in and he really cared about playing well and leading. We need guys like McCoy to lead this team and teach the younger guys about personal accountability. Cowboys got a good player imo.

He wasn't the superstar pass rusher I was hoping for ultimately, but I care about character a lot. He had the "it" factor, and we're left with players on this team who have the "sh!t" factor.
