WOW!!

What is the cap situation??

How many picks will we have including any comp picks??

Will we be in position to get our future QB and surround him with talent??

What does the FA class that year looks like??

What holes will we still have to fill??

Cap situation doesn’t look to be in great shape until 2022 or 2023,

comp picks are dead at this moment, holding on to a 4th currently

and looks like we are setting ourselves up to finish in the exact same position we finished this year, sorry as hell but not sorry enough to put us in typical franchise qb range.

Tf ? Yeah I do, due to the dead cap we’ve taken on and the current contracts we’ve signed, all the big money fa are off the market unless you believe we’re getting clowney.

When you say 2021 are you referring to 2020-2021 season or 2021-2022 season? I believe we are on the same page

Yeah I was looking more at the 2021 into 2022 season.. Which looks like right now we will have some money and hopefully enough resources to build around a QB we draft in the 2021 draft.. Again hopefully this is the plan.. Suck this year but look like we're trying.. Then get our franchise QB next draft...

Well this was the plan I would have thought if burrow ect were out of reach and they wanted to move on from cam, but the signing of bridgewater throws a wrench into the whole tank for a qb motion, unless they plan on picking one this year, it would have been easier to tank for a qb than sign a vet next offseason and roll over some cap for that season to build around a qb, but apparently they’re going a different route.

Yeah I still don't think Bridgewater is that good with this supporting cast to change much of anything.. The defense will be trash for most of the season and the offense might be solid.. So IMO the plan is Bridgewater is either a Bridge QB (pun intended) or he balls out and proves he's more than that...

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
