We need somebody to take some carries away from CMC. Dude's tires are gonna be bald before he gets to his second NFL contract at last year's pace.

Gurley is probably my favorite back second to CMC but what kind of price tag would he demand? Even with the knee trouble I’m assuming it’ll be steep.

Gurley's a long way from what he used to be. Last year the Rams primarily used him late in games.

He's basically a short yardage back at this point.

He still had 800+ yards and his skills are a good compliment to CMC's.

Possibly, but the knock on him when he was drafted was that he'd been so heavily used and battered in college that people feared he'd have a short shelf life in the NFL.

That prediction looks to be coming true.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
