1. bengals - burrow

2. redskins-tua

3.lions-chase young

4.giants - dereck brown

5.dolphins- justin herbert

6.chargers -jedrick wills

7.the best team in the nfl - JEFF OKUDUH!!

Burrow is the obvious first overall selection , rivera will want to find his future qb and not no bust dwayne haskins which absolutely sucked last season, could be a draft day trade in the late first or early secound so rivera lucked out with a beast like tua ,young best player available  for det, d,brown gettledouche loves his hogs  , dolphins tanked last season for a qb they are taking one ,chargers need a solid lt after trading us okung . JEFF OKUDUH makes sense lock down corner , we lost badberry were in a passing division lets get that lock down corner .

If Redskins stay put and take Tua, I like your list....but odds are somebody is going to trade up for Tua, my best guess is Miami.

In that scenario:

1.  Cincy - Burrow

2.  Miami - Tua

3.  Lions - Young

4.  Giants - Simmons

5. Redskins - Brown

6. Chargers - Herbert or Wills

7.  Panthers - Should be Okuda, wouldn't be surprised if it is Jeudy

If Redskins stay put and take Young:

1. Cincy - Burrow

2. Redskins - Young

3. Lions - Okuda

4. Giants - Simmons

5. Dolphins - Tua

6. Chargers - Herbert or Wills

7.  Panthers - I would trade down, Hurney, who knows, Herbert, Jeudy or Kinlaw maybe

Feels like the Redskins and RR kind of control the draft.  If we want Okuda we probably need someone to trade to 2 for Tua and then hope Lions take Young.

double trade scenario, which I could really see happening:

1. Cincy - Burrow

2. Dolphins - Tua , Dolphins accumulated draft capital for this very reason

3. Giants - Young, DG gets his guy, he isn't afraid to trade up

4. Lions - Okuda, Lions get their guy and some extra picks

5. Redskins - Simmons, RR likes a LB

6.  Chargers - Herbert or Wills

7.  Panthers - Herbert or Young

Derrick Brown to the Giants just seems destined to happen. Brown is the most Dave Gettleman prospect I've ever seen. I'm honestly surprised way more people aren't predicting this.

True, but I could also see him liking Simmons.  Would be his Luke, that playmaker on defense. He also drafted Shaq in the first round.  If he liked Shaq that much what do you think he thinks about Simmons?

Also it wouldn't surprise me to see Giants move up, if someone goes to 2 for Tua, then the Giants could switch spots with Detroit.  They would get Young and Detroit would get Okuda and some picks.  Both teams would be happy.

I would take the over on at least one trade happens in front of us.

1. CIN: Joe Burrow QB

2. WAS: Chase Young DE

3. MIA (from DET): Tua Tagovailoa QB

4. LVR (from NYG): They have the capital.  HUGE trade up for Justin Herbert QB to prevent a slip to their division rival in LA.  I think Gruden really wants him.

5. DET (from MIA): Jeff Okudah CB (Trade: Lions) Whatever the Lions do will impact us the most.  Okudah is too damn good to slip past 6.

6. LAC: Without Okung, they have a hole and grab Tristan Wirfs OT. (Also get CJN#1)

CAR: Isaiah Simmons | SAM/MIKE/S/EDGE Clemson 6’4 230

2. Redskins- Young

3. Lions- Okudah

4. Chargers (via trade)- Tua

5. Miami- Herbert

6. Giants- Simmons (people are so sucked in on Gettleman's big uglies ete etc, the guy also fell in love with Shaq Thompson who was thay hybrid LB)

7. Panthers- Trade down? Brown? Wirfs?

I can see LVR making a move, but DG isn't a fan of trading down so I would be surprised.

That's right about DG.

If the Raiders want Herbert, I think they'll have to get ahead of the Chargers.  Maybe the Lions trade down two-fold.  That could be interesting as they make a play for a rebuild after one more final shot with Stafford.

The Raiders and Lions are the wildcards in this draft.  What they do/don't do will have a big impact.

That would be wild, could end up with 3 QB in the first 3 picks,

That would be a pretty big move back for the Lions, 12 right? Maybe they like the CB out of Florida?

I don't really see the Giants or Redskins trading back that far, so if the Raiders do want to get infront of the Chargers, they are going to have to offer up a good bit of capitol.  If Chargers pass on Herbert I think there is a good chance he makes it to 12.

Speaking of Detroit, I find it rather odd that nobody is really talking about them going QB, could that be by design?

If they don't want a QB they should be acting like they do.  That increases the chance someone trades in front of them and then they get the 1st non QB in the draft.  Even if they want Okuda more than Young they would still have the chance of trading down and still getting Okuda.

If they do want a QB though they should be acting like they don't want one, so nobody trades up and then they can hope Washington takes Young and Tua falls to them.

If they weren't in the same division, #12 and Derek Carr for #6 would be a hell of a move between LVR and LAC haha.

I don't see the Redskins passing on Young with a trade down or Tua.  Can't see Rivera being on board with that.

Another fun scenario could be the Chargers signing Cam to start ahead of Tyrod.  Then they draft Wirfs.

1. Burrow - CIN

2. Young - WAS

3. Tua - MIA (trade)

4. Simmons - NYG

5. Okudah - DET (trade)

6. Wirfs - LAC, sign Cam

7....TRADE w/ JAX

Jacksonville could be the other wildcard for a trade up.

I don't know about mortgaging so much for the 3rd QB in the draft when you have Minshew.  Leaping 2 spots to secure Herbert may be possible though.  This limits risking the Cardinals trading theirs for a team wanting a QB or us potentially getting him if we bluff right.  Maybe get another 2nd or 3rd out of it and get someone we are targeting at #7 at #9.

I want jeudy . This is an offensive team . Defense will come in the later years but right now we have a chance to get a #1 wr to go along with dj Anderson and Samuel the more the merrier

Why does everyone think we will take Jeudy now with all the wrs we have signed in FA. I think that position is last on the list right now especially not Rd 1

    • The bad thing is that Xavier Legette kind of ignored the Jugs machine his rookie season. The good thing is that he's committed to it now. Catching is important to an NFL receiver (sarcasm), but, perhaps just as important is a receiver's---any player's---mindset.  "This offseason, the young wideout has gotten back to something in terms of preparation (Jugs machine). 'Oh man, it’s always been something I’ve done, and I don’t know why, but I felt like I could take a little breath,' explained Legette (via Darin Gantt of Panthers.com). 'And when you’re playing in this game, you can never do that. It’s always a way to get better, and that’s one of the ways to help with catching. For sure, for sure. In my mind, I’m thinking about ways, things I can do. What can I do to have less drops this coming season in Year 2? 'The whole mindset has changed, man,' added Legette. 'Trying to do anything I got to. I’m sacrificing a lot of things that I used to do outside of the building to put my work inside the building.'" https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/xavier-legette-focused-on-reducing-drops-that-plagued-rookie-year-with-panthers-01k1692c0tz9 So, yeah, it wasn't good coming in taking some things for granted, but Legette is young. His mentality appears to have changed and he appears to be maturing and he's been putting in a lot of work by all accounts.  I know some of you are down on him, but I still have faith. Last season was a disjointed mess in its entirety, but there were still some flashes, particularly with route running. With Legette's seemingly better fit as the WR2, mindset and focus---doing his actual job catching the ball---he should be able to improve.
    • It is worth noting the fanbase has long held a love hate relationship with PFF over the years. Now that we are employing some of their people and actively using their data in our roster building approach going forward this should serve as the end all be all to any debate. This is either going to end really well or really bad. It's the Panthers. So save your energy and give it some time.
    • And to be honest, we weren't really talking about PFF grades either. I brought it into the conversation via a pic that's LLM-related (which apparently some Huddlers took issue with) as an aside for providing more specificity than just sheer numbers
