Don't know how to post the Facebook link.  The new Panthers reporter Kristen Balboni just interviewed Matt on Facebook live and I thought it was insightful.  Couple of takeaways:

- Moving on from Cam was a tough decision.  Sounded like it was more about preference for Teddy and what he can do within the scheme.  A lot of positives about Teddy's qualities as a leader and how well he knows the system they want to run.  You can read a lot into his comments but I came away thinking that Matt didn't see Cam fitting into his culture and wants guys who will fit the system.  

- Looking to build through the draft with FA used to solidify with players who will fit the culture and scheme in some way.  Talked a lot about removing uncertainty in evaluating players.  I came away with the sense that Matt Rhule has a tremendous amount of input in building the roster which makes me feel better that Marty isn't making the decisions.

I really hope we moved on from Cam due to injury concerns and we're just doing the right thing by Cam and not disclosing that and posing it as a football decision. Honestly, that would be commendable. But, if we really did choose Teddy over Cam as a pure football decision... oh wee mayne.

It looks to me as teddy being a good fit for the system was a separate thought from moving on from cam.

The Panthers were Cam's team, that was Cam's locker room. As a new coach coming in to create a new environment, you can't play second fiddle to one of the players. And it may very well have been that Cam would have deferred to Rhule (Cam's a smart guy and a professional), but it is the other players who would look to Cam when it came to being given tough work/orders from the new coach.

Team dynamics are tough, and installing a culture is near impossible when there is already one in place. I think that a lot of the cuts we saw were to clear that out as much as anything. Keep the ones who naturally buy in or understand that the buy in is their ticket to the team, and set the others free. And we also can't forget how many players had strong, strong loyalties to Rivera as well.

Rhule made the right move, but it was a tough one.

      Speaking of false premises, I literally said “his rookie year” in my posts and you are arguing over something said a week ago as if that is what I was referring to. I tried to stop talking to you since you admitted yourself it’s pointless, but you just can’t stop running your mouth and bullshitting for some reason. We get it, you think you’re smart. Let me know when you’ve searched all the threads from 2023. I really don’t care enough to do it, but if you want to call me obtuse and all this stupid poo then you should put your money where your mouth is and prove it instead of just running off at the mouth. I wasn’t in here making anything personal or specific to you or anybody else, the only name I mentioned was MRenshaw who is a clear and known troll, but you seem to have taken it personally, so maybe you’re part of the problem.

      He is the president of the Huddle TMac fan club so he is a bit oversensitized to something that isn't even remotely offensive in the slightest. I don't really like when people call me by my last name but in various work settings, it happens all the time. I don't get my panties in a bunch over it.

      This fanbase has called bryce every disrespectful name in the book let alone other people on the huddle. Who cares what you call him as long as it isn’t disrespectful. You act like he’s gonna log in to the huddle and get his feelings hurt.
