I'm really surprised we haven't added another CB yet. Maybe we don't like the current market and have our eyes on some guys likely to get cut? Or, maybe we really do plan on rolling with what we currently have. I don't know.

What's out there now is still going to be out there for a while.  I'm thinking the staff is seeing what comes available down the road.

Isn’t Logan Ryan best at nickel? With players like Chinn and Burris that can also play the slot, I would prefer someone cheaper and better suited for outside CB...

He's looking for $10M. That's not to say he'll get it per se, but that's what he stated earlier this week. I'd take him here....not the pricetag. A 1 year prove it deal would buy us another year to see what we have in Jackson and let Pride come along slower.

At this point.....who knows. I agree with LG - probably waiting for another team to cut someone as the season gets closer.

If the Jets sign Ryan, then I think that might be a team we contact for a corner. It's interesting because that CB room was depleted heading into the offseason.

They have a lot of unproven youth with upside on that roster and one of which is a former Rhule player, Nate Hairston from Temple. 25-years old, 6'0" 185 that was traded for last offseason. Had flashes of good, but also got benched for his inconsistent play.

They also signed a UDFA that I loved as a late round gem - Lamar Jackson out of Nebraska. 6'2" 208 seems like a Rhule/Snow kinda addition. If he goes to their PS, let's scoop him up.

By no means a true CB1 on that roster for us to pluck, but maybe a "buy-low" reclamation project that Snow and Co. can fine tune.

The #Raiders have agreed to terms with free-agent CB Prince Amukamara, sources tell me and
@RapSheet
. The former first-round pick heads to Vegas for his 10th NFL season.

Prince was a great prospect coming out. Never reach his potential

For what he wants moneywise, I don't think this is the answer. At 29 years old and from the general opinions of Titans fans that he looked much better inside vs. outside, I think we need to look elsewhere.

I think the same might be true of Dennard...who I like. Cincy fans think he's a better slot guy than boundary corner. Our issue isn't slot, but outside being the area of need.

Honestly the panthers need 2 CBs, not just 1 vet. Dennard has most of his exp at slot and the panthers have no one there. Bungals didnt have much, but they did have lots of CBs. He has the size to play outside, which Donte Jackson does not. I did hear the panthers wanted Trae Waynes whom the bungals signed.

Its at the stage where you cannt be picky.
