Now if we could just hurry up and get a dang vaccine.

The last thing you want is a hurried vaccine.

This is good but not as good as it’s made out to be. Considering it won’t be in a bubble like the NHL. So quick tests still don’t = people either being or not being sick.

It is HUGE because it should really limit outbreaks. Agreed that you do't want to rush a vaccine. Even one that isn't rushed will come with potential dangerous side effects.

It’s just a test though. If there is outbreaks it doesn’t do anything to change games still being  called off. If there is an outbreak. It just says ok we know sooner. Without full bubble, there are simply too many variables. Young guys wanting to go out, family guys seeing their family who have come in contact with people at school, at the grocery store, etc etc. now add in the element of travel. Unlike the NBA and NHL, who have boxed their entire atmosphere in. You go to the hospital? That’s two weeks before you can rejoin the bubble, at the least. This is why I have no idea why the NFL isn’t doing a 4 stadium bubble.

50% effective vaccines

are still very helpful.

I’ll pass.  There has never been an effective vaccine for any RNA virus and this one will be no different.  Stop wasting time waiting on something that isn’t going to happen.

Where do you get this stuff?

The measles and the flu are both RNA viruses. The MMR (measles) vaccine is quite effective.

The leading candidates arent all RNA vacccines. Of the 5 leading candidates there are 2 RNA type vaccines.

    • When a team has EXPECTATIONS you have to show them that your fandom and praise is EARNED.  People would be mad if the they lost two one goal competitive games like 2023 but they wouldn't have gotten booed out of the building because the effort and competitiveness would be there but to lose in THAT fashion at home with your entire top line going free lance and saying fug this yeahhh.
    • Well with back to back road games to open the season again we really can't afford a "slow start" at least not for the psyche of the fanbase that is already at rock bottom from years of losing. I think that will depend on our approach to preseason this go around. But I do agree the makings of a culture change could be big for us. At the same time we heard talk of this last year and then we got the doors blown off multiple times. I can agree with you it's best to try to maintain perspective until we get closer to the midway point of the season. The main things I want to see early on even if we aren't necessarily winning is spark and toughness from the offense and defense and at least keeping games close.
    • First goal hmmm im going with Verhague
