On paper, before the season, we were a bottom 3 team. Now, man. I’m hard pressed to say we’re a bottom 10 team. So, many, bad teams.

I thought the defense would be bad too. But after watching the last two weeks with have they shut down Tampa in the 2nd half. Have we gave the Chargers offense trouble, it was obvious that this defense was improving. So why still the tank for Trevor talk when we have looked competitive on both sides of the ball.

Because most want a franchise QB because Teddy isn’t it. Duh.

Regardless, it doesn't seem like this team sucks like many have professed daily since early in the offseason.  This whole "historically bad" narrative was so off the mark.

I think they underestimated how good the coaching staff could be. This coaching staff deserves all of the credit right now. A lot of doubters for those guys specifically before the season. Not me. I liked Rhule a lot at Baylor. He’s been so, damn, good.

It was just so annoying because nobody could have a legitimate conversation without a load of wet blankets showing up to douse the sparks of optimism.

I was with you weeks one and two but dude no preseason just week three and settling in to Rhule/Bradys offense the defense is starting to gel, with as many bad teams as there are we aren't a bottom 10 team just accept it and enjoy the ride.
