TEDDY SUCKS

1.) I'm not a trade McCaffrey guy. Sarcasm seems to be lost on you.

2.) I've always called Teddy a game manager.

3.) He had a bad game today. Anyone saying otherwise is in denial.

4.) you're literally trying to argue over a typo.

5.) please stop trying to put TB on the same level as HOF QBs.

1) Trying to say stupid takes are sarcasm is a common dodge.

2) You literally said "that's why we call him a gunslinger" which points up that you don't know what that is.

3) No he didn't, but he did have a bad finish.

4) I'm not arguing over it, but I am making fun of it.

And lastly, if you seriously think I've put Bridgewater at a Hall of Fame level, I'm not sure your reading comprehension is very good.

Not reading all the whining.  However, you really cannot tell (as in the case with the last interception) who is at fault.  Could be a bad route, could be a bad read by the WR.

Having said that, Teddy put the 4th down pass in Moore's hands.  He had the ball and was tucking it.  What is his job?  It was tough catch, but you have to make plays.

I am sure most of you get it, but there is some dumbassery running a bit rampant on the Huddle right now--we lost.  We did not make plays.

Reed (LG) sucked today.  If I were to blame anyone, it would be him.

We need a true franchise qb. Teddy is an average stopgap but he's going to do enough to put us out of contention to draft a qb

I wouldn't forego a first round quarterback for Bridgewater...if we're in a position to draft one.

It's valid that we might not be.

1. It was a sarcasm thread making fun of the overreactions people made when we started out 2-0 with Kyle Allen.

2. Yea it was a typo. Now would you like to address the point made that you dodged. Do you think TB is the type of QB who can overcome early turnovers and put the team on his back for the win?

3. By what metric would you consider his game today, "Good?"

4. Cool, have at it.

5. I'm not in the mood to search through your posts, but you've consistently attempted to elevate Teddy to a level he hasn't reached this season.

We may get Lance if he falls in the draft. Teddy is just good enough to win 7 games and have us picking 16

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
