TEDDY SUCKS

He doesn't suck. He just isn't an elite player.

He didn't play terribly today but he made a couple of bone headed plays that cost us and he didn't handle the pressure well(as he typically doesn't). Conversely, Davis putting the ball on the ground was a big blunder. That and DJ dropped two balls that should have absolutely been caught.

Teddy is guilty of a bad TO and missing a critical throw that ultimately killed our comeback chances.

Teddy didn't lose the game by himself, unlike the Tampa game. It was a team effort.

If you think Teddy was any of the biggest problems today dare I say you know absolutely nothing about football.

Don't tell on yourselves.

I think Teddy was majority at fault for our loss. Overthrows, poor decisions, and the lack of mobility made it tough. I am a Teddy fan, but c'mon.

As much as he helped, I would put D.J. more at fault. The touchdown would have been a nice catch but the one on the sideline was a heart breaker and inexcusable.

Not sure why you would think I was responding to you. Hope your not one of them. I'm calling out the minority that acts like they're the majority because they post a 1000 times a day. It needs to be called by someone. I'll stand for the silent majority. Maybe 2 creeps care about skin color on this board. I'm not giving names but it gets old listening to the same old shtick. Everytime I hear, "Your telling on yourself" again without cause, Im going to light that fug up.

Teddy is judge based off his pay and based off what the prior qb could/did when healthy since that is the main reason we were told we moved on from him.

so far the trajectory isn’t looking great, but good news there’s time for teddy to prove us wrong otherwise I don’t expect much more than what his career averages suggest, and trust me I’m hoping he proves me wrong

He is already tracking well past his career averages in most categories. The stats aren't the problem, so much.

Well the stat I’m paying attention to is td:int ratio, he’s roughly on pace for 16 tds and 14 ints, which is horrible for what we paid for

He has yet to prove that. But I do believe they are in the same class.

It wasn’t until Smith’ 7th year in the league (6th playing season) that he became this ultra game manager Alex Smith

I think Teddy is on the same career trajectory if given the time (which I’m not sure he will be), but can be better than Smith. We’ll see

Yeah that’s fair. Teddy definitely hasn’t had that amount of game reps because of his injury.

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
