o line and defense lost us this game.  Not Teddy nor receivers, rbs nor special teams.  coaching was good enough  to win.  We lack players good enough to win games. Once we are out from under dead money contracts we should be good if we make  make good choices.

So just ignore the Teddy INT at the end of the game again?

You know, I haven't been upset after any of the games this season, even the other loses. This game however.....just wow. From the OLine not being able to block even a baby, ESPECIALLY Paradis, the defense playing absolutely terrible, the refs calling holding on us all day but ignoring theirs, Falcons being dirty fugers and kicking Teddy in the leg and then hitting in his head and neck area, and ultimately us losing to the them. So disappointed.

Teddy had guys crawling up his ass all game- tried to make something out of nothing down 8 with seconds left.  .  Sorry he didnt your meet superman standards.  You dumb fug.

He didn’t on that throw though. And there was still plenty of time in the clock. Don’t forget just a play or two prior to that we had to call a time out and waste one because Teddy didn’t have any sense of urgency. I also never said Teddy needed to be Superman. I was asking a question to clarify how a QB who throws a game ended INT deserves no blame. He is a part of this.

But awesome childish hot take.

Dude, seriously, I'm really starting to think Teddy must have slept with your girl or something with how much you want to blame EVERYTHING on him. It was a good play by the defender to make a jumping interception. If Teddy doesn't throw it he gets sacked which I'm sure you'd be the 1st one in here screaming "YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT SACK!" if it did happen like that.

He threw into what looked like an area with three defenders in it. That isn’t a great defensive play, that is a poor offensive play. The last few weeks during the game day threads I’ve been complimentary of Teddy. Hell, even this thread I wrote he made one poor read all day and to cut him some slack. This was before the INT. This was when he didn’t see a wide open DJ.

I am not attempting to play what if here, because we don’t have to pretend what if Teddy took a sack. He threw the ball into an area he shouldn’t and it got picked. Third time in four losses Teddy has had the ball in his hands and something bad happened.

    • https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/versatile-2nd-db-named-panthers-154026075.html Smith-Wade's ability to play corner, nickel and safety makes him valuable to a young defense trying to rebuild after finishing last in the NFL a year ago. "Chau took advantage of an opportunity,'' coach Dave Canales said. "He made tackles. He had an opportunity on an interception, and he made it.'' Our defense has got to come alive for us to have a chance of winning our Division!
    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
