What is a Schuyler Callihan?

No one is disputing that we have other needs. It's just that everything else pales in comparison to the importance of the QB position. If you don't have a franchise QB and the opportunity to land a potential franchise QB presents itself, you have to jump on it. Other needs be damned.

I do actually agree with you to an extent but you literally repeat the same BS in every thread.

If they fall in love with Trey Lance I think he has all the tools to be that guy. However, they can’t let him start behind this OL. It’ll destroy his development.

If Sewell is available when we draft I’d like to see us take him.

And, we have had one good LT in franchise history, so it isn't surprising we have only had one franchise QB.

Wait, what?

Let's not act like Jordan Gross wasn't a very good LT. I'll go to bat for Oher too. It sucks that concussion ruined him, but he was very good for us in '15.

That’s why you sit the qb we draft for a year and let teddy start. Retool/revamp that oline with the next two drafts/FA while making sure our cap is in order to be able to do so.  Make sure our franchise is protected.

i love Lance. Only other prospect I’ve been this enamored with was Odell.

If this team blows yet another top 10 pick on some "can't miss hog molly!!!" or "generational off ball linebacker" and not a franchise Quarterback then tepper should perhaps start looking at sites to build a stadium in San Antonio because I don't think the fanbase will ever recover from the gut punch.

Media sites like $I are okay with the panthers floundering in eternal mediocrity because they have no vested interest in the panthers doing well. If the panthers are playing in the super bowl, then the packers or 49ers aren't.

So teams like the panthers become a convenient blank tablet for them to project other general intrigues upon, whether that be feel good stories, partisan ambitions, or just general occasional money maker one shots to break things up in between pieces on the Steelers.

There a reason why no matter how bad Bridgewater plays, the mocks continue to project us bypassing a QB so the patriots or 49ers can take one a couple picks later.

Not re-signing Moton would be a huge mistake. Probably an even bigger mistake than not re-signing Bradberry. God knows Panthers fans should be well aware of the reality that legit NFL starters at OT and CB aren't exactly easy to come by yet this organization has always conducted business as if they are... while dumping massive resources into RB and LB, which actually are relatively easy pieces to come by.

Paying him as one of the top tackles in the league is something Marty would do.  If it comes to that then I am open to letting him walk.  We have to stop giving out these crazy ass contracts

If he gets 15per that puts him in top 5 of Left tackles.  Thats just not smart.   It just isnt.  I hope we sign him but do it responsibly

It's just the way the NFL works. When you're signing an elite guy long-term, you're paying above today's value because you're paying in for the future when guys are going to be signing even bigger contracts.  It's all about the structure, guaranteed money, and potential outs.

I'd give anything for Howell. Big arm, great deep thrower, good decision maker, accurate, decent throwing on the move, and absolutely cold blooded. That defense puts him in awful situation after awful situation and he gives them a chance every week.

I didn't wanna see it, bc sometimes local sports fans overhype their fave team's players, but I see. He's competent, he's got arm talent and he can move, he's going in the first round. He's the modern Russell Wilson, Kyle Murray type of QB that every team wants, so is Rattler probably
