He has sucked all kindza ass lately...so we just ignore that?

Well, the question is if a promising and fairly high performing QB has just lost "it" or if he is just in a rut. I can say that before this season and after this season, I'd rather spend the 20-25 mil on Wentz than Teddy.

I rather pay more money and draft pick(s) in trying to get Dak Prescott from Dallas than Wentz. Dak would make this team a competitor the second he steps foot in Charlotte. Wentz has everything you want in a franchise QB but his best days are over. Guys just don’t seem like they want to play for him. Reports are that Wentz is a guy who thinks that he know everything and questions the coaches and everyone else when something doesn’t happen the way he wants it to be.

Dak wants 40 million per.  Hard pass

Not sure why everyone in this thread is flipping out. If we somehow could get Wentz for like a 6th and he restructures to Teddy contact (none of this would ever happen, the Eagles FO isn't that dumb but playing along) I absolutely would. It's a win/win, allows you to either sit Wilson for a year behind a good QB who just is having a horrible year and could come back with new staff or let's you not reach for a QB in this draft if we aren't sold on the guys there and can wait until 2022

What in the world are you talking about? The Eagles would jump for joy if any team was stupid enough to offer them draft capital for Wentz. He's dead weight at this point and an albatross on their cap. Also in your scenario, we would have about $60 million tied up in our 2021 cap on QBs. At least trading Bridgewater for Wentz could be debated based on the similar hit on the cap (although I'm personally opposed due to the longer term commitment). But trading for him for a 6th round pick makes no sense. Unless you are suggesting we trade Bridgewater AND a 6th round pick, which would only maybe be plausible if we were the team getting the extra 6th rounder.
