I agree. If he's the OC next year, I'm not going to be calling for his head or anything. He has a ton of potential and still learning the ropes at the NFL level. But, I also wouldn't be upset if he moved on to greener pastures. Could work out to be a good move for both sides.

I'm more concerned with Phil Snow at DC. Dude made some horrific playcalls this season and I was critical of his hiring from the get go. Panthers defense allowed the most first downs in franchise history and tons of 3rd and longs. Some of that can be chalked up to lack of talent but at some point you have to point the finger at the man in charge.

Rhule sees Snow as almost a father figure / mentor type. I hate to break this to you, but Snow isn't going anywhere.

I honestly think Snow did more with less than Brady did. Reading up on his Baylor defenses, that's not what we saw this year. I think he knew he didn't have the secondary to actually run his style of defense and tried to do the best he could with what he had to work with. Don't forget, virtually all of us expected to have the worst defense in the NFL this year. We were pretty far from that.

I’ll say scheming 4 different players to 1,000+ scrimmage yards is pretty impressive, especially with CMC out and with SEVERE limitations at QB.

Gotta disagree with ya on that point. The team was still 21st in total yards per game and 24th in scoring. The team only had about 5600 total yards on offense this season.  Having 4 guys account for almost 80% of that isn't necessarily a good thing. Looks good on the individual stats and creates some bonus opportunities, but other than that....

Aside from Mike Davis (8 TDs), who was one of those 1000 yard guys, none of the other 3 had more TDs than Christian McCaffrey (6), and he only played in 3 games. Sure, it's great Anderson, Samuel and Moore all went over 1000 yards, but the scoreboard doesn't show points for yardage.

Regressing? He is what we thought he was.

Is he?  I mean the word on him was an accurate short passer who couldn't or wouldn't push it down the field.  If that was how things worked out, we would have won a few more games.  But his short game wasn't that great, at least it wasn't during crunch time.

I can't ever remember, in my 55 years of watching football, seeing an NFL QB throw more passes on third down that never got to the sticks. Hell, TB threw a couple completions yesterday that never made it to the LOS.

One of the reasons the Panthers had 3 WRs with over a 1000 yards is because they're all athletic enough to make some unbelievable catches. With any other group of WRs, TB ends the season with at least 6 more picks. Speaking of picks, those 2 endzone picks yesterday weren't even in the same zip code as the intended(?) receivers.

we would not have won more games because he couldnt complete more 4 yard passes.

Brady was the best OC we’ve probably had in team history. Definitely in the past 15 years. Not perfect, but when you’re working with the utter shite he had to work with at QB you can’t expect miracles. The route combinations and play structures were light years ahead of anything we’ve seen in a while.  Situational playcalling will come with experience.  I think he did well, all things considered.  I still have flashbacks of two, sometimes three receivers running to the same area on plays regularly with the WORST OC we’ve ever had, Shula.
