Hmm. Doctor Strange? They say this leads into his next movie. And the Vision actor said the final scene of the season is like OMGWTFBBQ!1!!111

Makes sense. He can see the future. So he saw this. And only he can combat her magical powers. The question would be, why has he waited "this long" to confront her. I used quotes because we don't know how long this whole thing has gone on.

I definitely think the missing person is an Avenger.   I’m thinking more along the lines of Ant man.  Paul Rudd would also knock it out of the park playing a cheesy sitcom character.   Especially paired up as the hubby with the Agnes actress.  Agnes keeping him away though since she isn’t a normal character in Wanda’s show.  She knows Wanda has issues keeping her little world together.   But he basically has a Geraldine/Monica scene and breaking character moment.  He plays a role in Wanda being done with it all.   Antman already has the obvious tie with the FBI agent keeping tabs on him and the more importantly the quantum realm.

I think Wanda goes a little Anakin Skywalker when she comes out of the fantasy.   Goes super crazy with her powers and taps into/creates the multiverse plots.  Think they also have said it helps up set up the Spiderverse as well as the Dr Strange stuff.

that’s my guess until probably next week where I change it all.  Dr Strange obviously works as you said too.  But I’m leaning Antman.

Okay, so I thought I knew what was happening... Had a few of the threads but not the whole cloth, that's for sure.

Cool to see tie-in characters from Ant-Man, Thor and Captain Marvel so far. This is one heck of a roller coaster ride. Top end stuff here.

They certainly have made it a "gotta tune in" kind of series!

Man, this show is so well crafted!  So I pay attention to things like the aspect ratios, the video specs (like 30 frames video versus 24 FPS for film), and the color grading.  When episode four fired up I was like "wait, they've gone all cinematic??"  Which then makes sense because we returned to the MCU after all.

Super fascinating!  I can't wait to see what happens as Wanda continues to grieve for Vision.  Though we are starting to see Vision become more aware of things in Wanda's world.  I wonder how all of that will play out.

When Wanda had the brief glimpse of a dead Vision, do we think it was just a memory? Or do we think she's using his corpse?

I think whoever is helping her to create this town uses things like that to keep her imprisoned. Showing her dead Vision reminding her what awaits if she chooses to end the town manifestation.

Interesting. So you think someone else is making her do this, instead of it being her idea? People have been throwing around the name Mephisto, but as a baddie, I don't see his endgame there if it's him.

A big clue is that this ties directly into the Multiverse of Madness film next year. Maybe Mephisto is the villain in that movie.

Yeah, I think someone keeps manipulating her to do what he/she wants. With all the mentions of children and all of a sudden she is pregnant. Someone did that. Then just after she starts to remember her brother and has an altercation from the SWORD chick whoever is controlling her says hey not so fast remember dead Vision? She then succumbs to the illusion again.

On a random internet speculation, I saw someone say that the unnamed person Rambo was talking about could be Reed Richards of Fantastic Four fame.  This could be a show that helps to bridge the gap and bring in some other great Marvel characters from Fox.

Just remember that Monica Rambeau in the old Marvel Comics also became Captain Marvel for a few years.

And the retcon of Quicksilver was awesome and probably the first step in bringing the X-Men back into the MCU family.

I never thought WandaVision was going to be this good, but it is just out there being spectacular.

If they do as well with Falcon and the Winter Soldier (is it a bit of a reference to The Falcon and the Snowman movie from back in the day?) then this is going to be a great vehicle for telling the tie-in stories of the big movies.

    • Its worse because the NFL would never allow all the teams to join the NFC East or something.  There's a firm divisional structure with a salary cap to make it competitive.
    • Practice tweets/news from today (will post videos in the next cpl of posts if there are any worthwhile): K Ryan Fitzgerald now wearing #10. QB Hendon Hooker has #12. WR Dalevon Campbell has #81. RB DeeJay Dallas was in #1 but it's currently a practice-only number as he was playing the part of Jag's RB Travis Etienne on the scout team (his real number is #20). WR Jalen Coker walked out with a compression sleeve on his left leg. Later seen on the bike. LG Damien Lewis not wearing the red practice jersey anymore, should be full go for Thursday. LT Ikem Ekwonu was at practice but not dressed out as he recovers from an appendectomy. Worked out on the sideline with Jalen Coker + RB Jonathon Brooks. WRs Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, and Hunter Renfrow were all exempt from special teams practice. Likely three starters for Thursday. OT Yosh Nijman got the first looks at LT today. During the post-practice presser, Canales said that there was a lot of good energy today and that offense won the 1-on-1s which included a 40yd throw from Bryce Young to Xavier Legette early to "set the tone" (per Canales). Also stated that Icky is currently day-to-day. Commented on having a training plan for Coker this passed offseason and that he did a great job following it (though the quad issue is one he has had in the past). Renfrow's locker is between Dalton and Hooker (left) and Young (right). Sounds like they're trying to get Renfrow on the same page as the QBs in this offense to replace AT's role as that second set of "QB eyes" on the field. Icky talked about his symptoms that led to his surgery and mentioned that his dad, a physician, was who got him to go. Won't rush himself back, but hasn't ruled out playing Sunday. Renfrow said he had others, but he was either going to play for the Panthers or not at all. Said Bryce called him during the process and that when he was released the team mentioned that the Thielen trade might be coming. Got the news while picking up a trailer at his other job. Also said that Canales told him that he didn't think that he was physically ready yet but wanted him back on the practice squad. The Coker injury changed the calculus.
    • Most things that made it good are already dead, imo. The transfer portal combined with the money makes it all a complete joke. There’s no longer any sense of school pride, at least for me. If my team does well it is in large part because they paid better guys than the next team. When I went to college, I had some basketball players living in the same apartments and they’d show up to parties sometimes. You’d see guys around and they were just normal broke college kids like you. There was comraderie and pride that these guys saw the same school you loved and wanted to be there just like you. All of that is gone. It’s pro sports now, but worse. The players aren’t there long enough to feel like you know the team. No connection, just bragging rights over who has the largest and most affluent donor base.
