Tepper does not know how to build a winning franchise

It ain't gonna happen as long as he is sticking his nose in places they don't belong. Leave football ops to the football guys.

Also, not a single noteworth or worthwhile GM is gonna want to come here to be Rhule's "yes man".

Fun times in Carolina.

How's that billion dollar Tepper World gonna look in 10 years when we are on our third coaching change?

Who cares it’s all going to SC anyway!

Since he brought the panthers, its been nothing but downhill since. Keeps RR and Herniay too long, stole seats form realist fans without even notification, pit NC vs SC to squeeze more money form the other while counting his 13 billions, goosed his lady friend, cam comments... I mean two of those the cancel culture would go to town on, hes putting a faster Jerry Richardson move

Give me a single example of something Tepper has done to make you feel differently.

He’s only been over the team for three years and the first cannot be counted being that he didn’t have time to make any changes.

He has completely overhauled our front offices, invested millions in state of the art facilities, equipment, research, trying for a new stadium, fired the old regime (coach and gm), changed the terrible culture that Richardson tarnished, has hired full time mental health therapist for our players, brought in experts in areas Richardson refused to invest in like a cap specialist, got us out of practicing in a damn hotel lobby when it rains, I could go on and on.

The guy had to change the entire organization from every level and is just now getting started on the football side with Rhule and a new GM to pair with him. Our new head coach had an all new staff to implement in an offseason destroyed by covid with no offseason, preseason games, time to even meet staff or players etc.

It is ridiculous to call a brand new owner out for not knowing how to build a winning franchise when he’s really only had two years over the team to begin with. Even pushing that aside what’s the point in complaining about him? It’s not like he’s going anywhere or that we can trade him for a draft pick

    • I'm super excited about the guys we're getting back, and fortunately this year, outside of Robert Hunt, we haven't had any season-threatening injuries. Rico has earned the start, but I am excited to have both available.  The team is finally turning into the run-first team Canales said he wanted to be. As for JT Sanders, I think he has lost the most be being out. He is probably our best receiving TE, but with the emergence of Mitchell Evans & with him and Tommy Tremble both absolutely balling in run blocking, it will be hard to fix something that isn't broken. I'm hoping Turk Wharton can help with our pass rush. We really havent gotten to see him much due to injuries, but we desperately need anyone to provide some pass rush juice, which is what he was brought to do. I'm the most excited about Jalen Coker returning. Theilen may have been the most clutch last year, but I've watched a lot of film, and Coker was the most consistent WR we had when he was out there last year.  I think he can be an ideal #2 to Tmac. While Coker doesn't have the raw athleticism XL does, his route running, savvy, and overall football IQ simply make him better.  I think with the fact Coker can play both outside and in the slot will give our pass game more versatility.  We have been running a lot of 2 TE sets, and I think Tmac & Coker should be the primary WRs for 12 personnel. The other WRs (XL, Tremayne, Renfrow, & Horn) all have roles, but I dont think any of them can fully replace what Coker can do. I do think Renfrow will be inactive this week if everyone is healthy bc of how valuable Tremayne is for ST and as a run blocker. So happy that we are playing meaningful football heading into November. We are still almost certainly a year away, but we are absolutely moving in the right direction
    • Better than a fragile starter, though
